Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-01-28T08:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-01-28T08:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S10W110
Active Region Number: 13961
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Faint loop CME seen to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and SW in STEREO A COR2. Source is an eruption from AR 13961 (S10, approx. W105-110) just beyond the SW limb. Brightening is seen in STEREO A EUVI 195/304 imagery at S10W110 (coordinates from perspective of Earth-facing disk) at 2025-01-28T08:05Z. Opening field lines are seen in SDO AIA 171/193 and GOES SUVI 284 starting at 2025-01-28T08:05Z, and the absence of post-eruptive arcades and/or dimming on the Earth-facing disk further suggests this eruption is beyond the SW limb.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
