Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-07-03T18:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-07-03T18:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N15W58
Active Region Number: 14479
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first seen to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2 starting at 2026-07-03T18:36Z. It is also seen to the NW in GOES CCOR-1 and to the NNE in STEREO A COR2. Only the first couple of frames in SOHO LASCO C2 are seen in real time due to a data gap between downlink periods. This CME is associated with an M6.7 class flare from AR 14479 (N15W58) that peaked at 2026-07-03T18:11Z. The flare is best seen in SDO AIA 131. A large EUV wave and wide opening field lines are also seen in SDO AIA 193.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
