Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-04-05T01:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-04-05T01:48:00-CME-001 (version 4)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: CME first seen to the SE in GOES CCOR-1 starting at 2026-04-05T02:15Z. The start of it is it likely covered by real-time data gap in STEREO A COR2 but even after the data gap it is not seen in COR2, indicating far-sidedness. There is some extremely faint field line movement beyond SE limb starting around 2026-04-05T00:20Z best seen in GOES SUVI 284, which might be the indication of a very far sided source.

If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Final plane-of-sky measurement based on SOHO LASCO and GOES CCOR-1. The CME is not seen in STEREO A COR2 after the initial data gap. No clear sourse has been found for it in EUV imagery, so it is likely far sided. |
