Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-26T06:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-03-26T06:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N15E60
Active Region Number: 14403
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint, wide CME observed to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2. The source is associated with an M3.9 flare from AR 14403 which peaked at 2026-03-26T06:23Z, as observed in GOES SUVI 131. Additional source observations include wide field line movement and an EUV wave in GOES SUVI 171/195/284/304 starting around 2026-03-26T06:12Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Bulk analysis of the bright, inner material of this front observed best in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2, which dissipates/blends into the background after its earliest frames. Triangulation puts it about 9 degrees west of the observed source, at E51 with observed E60, but the wide field line movement and EUV wave support this deflection. |

Preliminary shock analysis, which may be considered final pending further review, using only SOHO LASCO C2/C3 as the shock front is not observed in STEREO A COR2 for triangulation. As such, the observed source region at E60 is used as a reference and the actual longitude may vary E50-E70. This is a wide analysis including a southern part of the feature believed to be of this same shock front and not a separate event, as the entire feature travels at the same speed through the coronagraphs. |
