Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-21T21:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-03-21T21:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
Note: Semi-faint CME visible to the S/SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1 and to the SE in STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source of this CME appears to be a slow moving/opening of field lines and dimming/brightening in the SE quadrant of the Earth-facing disk starting around 2026-03-21T18:30Z as seen in GOES SUVI 195, 304, and 284 centered around S45E30. There is a second eruption visible near S60W50 which may contribute to overlapping features in the outflowing part at the back of the CME starting around 2026-03-22T00:30Z as seen in GOES SUVI 304 and 195.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
