SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2026-02-10T19:38:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This narrow CME is faintly seen to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2 starting around 2026-02-10T19:38Z. It is briefly seen in SOHO LASCO C3 before becoming too faint to track. It is not clearly seen in GOES CCOR-1. There is a data gap in STEREO A COR during this event. The source for this CME appears to be a small and narrow filament eruption with associated moving/opening field lines visible in SDO/AIA 304, 171, and 193; as well as in GOES SUVI 284, to the SW along the limb starting around 2026-02-10T19:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Parameters based on potential source location area and best fit in SOHO LASCO C2 imagery. This is specifically measuring the most narrow portion of the feature visible in difference imagery. There is a much slower, slightly wider portion that may also be associated with this source that measured with speeds below 150 km/s. The longitude of this CME may vary by +/- 10 degrees due to limited stereoscopic viewpoints of the source location. |
