Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-29T02:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2026-01-29T02:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: Narrow, faint CME first seen to the NNW by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2026-01-29T02:00Z. This CME fades before exiting the field-of-view in SOHO LASCO C2, and is therefore not visible in SOHO LASCO C3 or GOES CCOR-1. This CME is also not visible in STEREO A COR2 due to a data gap from 2026-01-28T15:53Z to 2026-01-29T03:23Z. The source of this event is faint field line opening seen along the NW limb in SDO AIA 193 beginning around 2026-01-29T01:00Z, exhibiting some possible Northern deflection.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Plane-of-sky measurement using a longitude of W90 due to faint source near the limb and lack of STEREO A COR2 imagery to triangulate or STEREO A EUVI to observe exact source longitude. Longitudes are fitting between W50 and W130. |
