Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-09-04T14:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-09-04T14:23:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N28E08
Active Region Number: 14207
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
CHP: CME - Coronal Hole Proximity
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Hight northern latitude CME that closely follows and overlaps with the preceding CME: 2025-09-04T13:09Z. Its source is likely the M 1.0-class flare and associated eruption just west of AR 4207 (N28E08) peaking at 2025-09-04T13:44Z as brightening, narrow ejecta going northwestward and dimming in SDO AIA 304, 131, 193, 171, as well as in STEREO A EUV 304 and GOES SUVI 284. The CME seems to deflect northwestwardly, likely because of the minor coronal hole just south of the AR 4207.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Very approximate analysis based on the fit with all three coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO, STEREO A COR2 and GOES CCOR-1). There seems to be significant deflection NW, which can be explained by the effect of a small coronal hole south of the associated AR. |
