Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-08-03T13:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-08-03T13:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
Morphology Keyword:
OS: Other and Shock Candidate
Note: A very faint fan-like CME seen to the NE in GOES CCOR-1 and SOHO LASCO C2/C3 (mostly only in running difference imagery). Its front is best seen in C2 difference imagery and is fully covered by a large data gap in STEREO A. The source is not clear: it could be a couple of faint but distinct movements of field lines on/behind the NW limb seen after 2025-08-03T13Z in SDO AIA 193, but alternatively the CME might be connected to an eruption happening after 2025-08-03T11:40Z just N of AR 4165 (N12E25) and seen as minor to medium size dimming in SDO AIA 193.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

The CME is covered by a large data gap in STEREO A imagery, so no 2-coronagraph analysis is possible. Its source is not clear (there are potential on-disk and on/behind the E limb sources).
