Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-07-12T08:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-07-12T08:00:00-CME-001 (version 4)
Source Location: S35W60
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A relatively narrow CME with a messy front visible to SSW in white light (as well as in running difference) imagery in all three coronagraphs. Seen more to the south and more faintly in STEREO A COR2. Its likely source is a filament seen erupting starting at 2025-07-12T08:45Z near the SW limb, as seen in SDO AIA imagery, centered very approximately at (S35W60). The source is seen in more detail in STEREO A EUV 304/195 imagery than in other EUV imagers: in STEREO EUVI 195 two simultaneous eruptions cam be seen - one in the AR 4134 (~S23W90), and the other in the filament located SE of this AR (~S35W45).

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
