Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-05-25T04:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-05-25T04:00:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Faint CME overlapping a streamer blowout to the east, observed in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, GOES CCOR-1, and STEREO A COR2. The source is likely a filament eruption and brightening in SDO AIA 304 at 2025-05-25T02:54Z, and a double peaked C5.3 and C6.4 flare observed on/just beyond the east limb starting at 2025-05-25T02:50Z in SDO AIA 131. Also observed as some field line movement in SDO AIA 171/193.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Triangulated measurement between SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2. E90 is the triangulated longitude and this is not plane-of-sky. Due to the faint front and overlap with a concurrent streamer blowout, the earliest visible frames are omitted for a better tracking of the front. |
