Note: Very faint slow CME, a partial halo in SOHO LASCO C2, with a messy front consisting of multiple consecutive faint unevenly shaped fronts, seen extremely faintly to the northeast in SOHO LASCO and a bit more clearly to the northwest in STEREO A COR2. Not clearly visible in GOES CCOR-1. To satisfy this constraint - NE in LASCO, NW in STEREO - its longitude has to be between -155 and -175 degrees, so likely this is a very far-sided event. No clear source for it was found in EUV imagery.

Approximate analysis based on the fit with two coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO and STEREO A COR2) and supported by the range of possible longitudes (based on the CME appearing northeast in LASCO and northwest in STEREO A). This analysis is based on the clearer second front directly following a messier first front of the CME, as they appear in both coronagraphs. |
