Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-05-11T04:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-05-11T04:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N40E75
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: A high northern latitude CME from near the northeast limb seen in SOHO LASCO and STEREO A, covered by pylon in GOES CCOR-1, and likely associated with the filament eruption/bright ejecta close to the northeast limb (~N40E75) and seemingly directed/deflecting northwardly in EUV imagery, as seen starting in SDO AIA 171/304 and GOES SUVI 304 EUV imagery starting after 2025-05-11T02Z. It is also seen as opening of field lines in GOES SUVI 284 and as minor post-eruptive arcades in SDO AIA 193.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis based on the fit of the front with two coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO and STEREO A COR2). There seems to be a northward deflection or rotation going on. |
