Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-28T15:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-04-28T15:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME

Note: CME first seen to the N in SOHO LASCO C2 starting at 2025-04-28T15:48Z. Also seen to the N in SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2. This CME is best seen in running difference imagery and partially overlaps with earlier, slower CME: 2025-04-28T10:36Z. Later in propagation into SOHO LASCO C3, the CME appears to accelerate. This acceleration could be caused by an additional front that is sporadically visible for a few frames across SOHO LASCO C2/C3 but is not independently measurable. No additional coronal signatures were visible as possible sources for this CME; however, due to the far northern latitude (~N85), a very wide range of longitudes are possible. The source could be farsided.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
