Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-28T00:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2025-04-28T00:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N20E40
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: Very faint CME to the NE in SOHO, best seen in running difference imagery. It has a fuzzy front (except in a couple earliest timestamps of SOHO LASCO C2). The CME is extremely faint in C3 and even in C2 the front disappears after a few early timestamps. The CME is fully covered by a nighttime data gap in STEREO A. Its source is most likely an eruption best seen in GOES SUVI 284 from an unnumbered AR/plage region (~N20E40) to the NE of AR 14076 beginning at 2025-04-27T23:25Z.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
