Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-13T00:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-04-13T00:12:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: S19E15
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
GAP: Data gap
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Halo (especially in SOHO) CME, with the start obscured by the nighttime data gap in STEREO A but available from the start in SOHO LASCO. The CME is partly obscured in C3 imagery by the pylon. The CME is directed to the SE in COR2A (as seen after the gap). The source of this CME is a filament eruption extending from N10E15 to S30E15, as seen in SDO AIA 304, 193, 171 and GOES SUVI 284, 304. Post-eruptive arcades are also seen in STEREO A EUV imagery after the end of data gap.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
