Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-04-08T08:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-04-08T08:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N10E55
Active Region Number: 14057
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Narrow CME seen to the east in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and to the east-southeast in STEREO A COR2, quickly leaving the SOHO LASCO C2 field of view. The likely source is a secondary eruption seen near the vicinity of Active Region 4057 near N10E55 to E65 (after deflection) following CME: 2025-04-08T06:00Z characterized by a brightening near the footpoints and a subsequent ejection of plasma seen occurring to the east starting around 2025-04-08T08:00Z, best in SDO AIA 304.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
