Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-03-04T04:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-03-04T04:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S42W95
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: Faint CME visible to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and STEREO A COR2 imagery. This CME partially overlaps the CME first seen in SOHO LASCO C2 at 2025-03-04T03:48Z. The potential source for this CME is a filament eruption near S42W95 with associated moving/opening field lines visible along the SW limb in SDO/AIA 304 and 171 starting around 2025-03-04T03:51Z. There appears to be southward deflection possibly due to coronal holes in the vicinity of the source location. The coronal holes and the eruptions deflection are more clearly seen in STEREO A EUVI 195 and 304 imagery.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Parameters based on best fit of the CME using SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2 imagery. Strong deflection is likely due to nearby coronal holes. |
