Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-01-18T15:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2025-01-18T15:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N20W04
Active Region Number: 13959
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME seen to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, not STEREO COR2A due to a data gap. This CME front is quite faint and diffuse. The source may be a faint filament eruption from area of AR 3959 (N20W04) starting around 2025-01-18T13:54Z in SDO AIA 304, which is seen deflecting northwestward slightly in SDO AIA 304/GOES SUVI 304, though for only a few frames before fading. CME partially overlaps with CME: 2025-01-18T15:48Z.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
