Note: This CME is visible to the south/southwest in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, and is not seen in STEREO A COR2 imagery due to a data gap. The source is likely a slowly developing filament eruption visible near the southwest limb spanning S60W60 to S37W75 (centered around S50W70) which begins to erupt around 2025-01-07T15:30Z, seen best in GOES SUVI 304 imagery. A gradual opening field lines are visible in GOES SUVI 195 and 284 imagery around this time as well.
