All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2025-01-02T15:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S20W30
Active Region Number: 13939
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the west in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 imagery, and is not seen in STEREO A COR2 due to a data gap. The source is likely related to the eruption from Active Region 13939 (S20W30) starting around 2025-01-02T14:30Z as seen in GOES SUVI 171, 195 and 284 imagery. Dimming is also observed around this time in GOES SUVI 195 imagery. This event overlaps with CME: 2025-01-02T15:24Z.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
