Note: Fast, thin CME seen to the SSW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO COR2A. The likely source for this CME is only seen in STEREO A EUVI imagery, starting at 2024-12-28T02:24Z in EUVI 195 and T02:45Z in EUVI 304, as a small filament eruption near the limb as observed from STEREO A. STEREO A is 28.7 degrees off of SOHO at this eruption time, so this source is likely ranged W100-120.

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT 95.0 -51.0 727.0 C 10.0 2024-12-28T07:44Z Triangulated measurement between SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO COR2A, noting the CME deflecting southward from the source based on how it travels through the coronagraphs, complicating swpc_cat's tracking of the front direction. However, this fit is close to the estimated source as observed in STEREO EUVI imagery, with visual triangulating getting worse if you go further beyond W95.
