Note: This CME is visible to the east in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source is likely an eruption centered near S05E65 seen in GOES SUVI 131, 171, 195, 304 imagery starting around 2024-12-27T05:50Z. A subsequent opening of field lines is visible over the eruption site in GOES SUVI 195 and 284 imagery around this time as well.
