Note: CME and possible shock first seen in the SSW by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2024-12-21T17:48Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3 in later frames. This CME is not visible in STEREO A COR2 due to a data gap from 2024-12-21T11:39Z to 2024-12-21T22:09Z. There is no clear source seen on the disk for this event. A small amount of likely far sided material can be seen leaving the disk along the SSW limb in GOES SUVI 304 which may be a possible source.
