Source Location: S18E70
Active Region Number: 13922
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the S/SE in SOHO LASCO C2 and C3 imagery. There is a data gap in STEREO A COR2 imagery for this event. The source appears to be an M1.6 class flare from AR 13922 (S18E70) with a sympathetic eruption to the west of this region starting around 2024-12-10T17:58Z as seen in GOES SUVI 131, 304, and 284. Moving/opening field lines are visible along the limb as well as a minor EUV wave to the south along the limb as seen in GOES SUVI 284 and 195.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT -70.0 -69.0 630.0 C 18.0 2024-12-11T00:00Z This CME deflects far to the south with continued deflection southward as it progresses through the SOHO LASCO C2 and C3 field of view. Due to this, there is some uncertainty with the fit. Not modeled Carina Alden on 2024-12-11T03:50Z
