All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-12-04T10:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S10E90
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: Faint CME to the SE seen in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. Source is an M2.3 flare with peak time 2024-12-04T10:00Z as well as rising and opening loops of field lines which begin simultaneously with the flare and from the same location, as seen in GOES SUVI 131. The location of this source is an unnumbered region directly on the East limb, located at S10E90 at the time of the flare.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Measurement of faint leading edge using C2 and COR2A. This CME was not visible in C3 difference imagery; it was nearly entirely blocked by the pylon and the partial edge that could be seen was extremely faint and unreliable to track. The leading edge is faint and quickly becomes diffuse in both C2 and COR2A. |
