Start Time: 2024-11-25T18:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-11-25T18:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the west/southwest in SOHO LASCO C2 and C3. There is a data gap in STEREO A COR2 imagery for this CME. The front appears to be faint with a brighter core and possible h-alpha emission visible in C2 imagery. The source appears to be a filament eruption starting around 17Z beyond the SW limb in SDO/AIA 304. Associated moving/opening field lines are visible in SDO/AIA 171 and 193 as well as in GOES SUVI 284 imagery

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

As the source is visible slightly beyond the western limb, a precise source location is unknown. However, the source is visible near the western limb so a measured longitude of 90 degrees was used. The measured parameters may vary slightly as a result of the unknown/far-sided source location. This measurement tracks the brighter leading edge portion and excludes the faint feature preceding this. |
