Note: Faint CME seen to the ESE in STEREO COR2A, and very faintly/diffusely to the SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3. Given the observed time of this CME no on-disk source was observed in SDO or GOES imagery, with the closest potential source being be a slow dimming from AR 3852/3854 (around S10E08) starting around 2024-10-12T16:54Z in SDO AIA 193. However triangulation between SOHO and STEREO coronagraphs, with lower confidence due to faintness in SOHO LASCO C2/C3, resulted in a source fit around S10E37.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Triangulated measurement between STEREO COR2A and SOHO LASCO C2/C3, notably difficult due to faintness and diffuse nature of the front in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 compared to the more visible front in STEREO COR2A. Far-sided longitudes did not fit at all between coronagraphs, so despite the lack of clear on-disk source, this CME appears front sided and this best fit is provided. |
