Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-10-10T18:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-10-10T18:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N12W90
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
J: Jet
Note: Fast jet CME first seen in the NW by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2024-10-10T18:12Z, as well as by SOHO LASCO C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source of this event is clear opening field lines seen on or just beyond the NW limb (approx. N12W90) beginning at approx. 10/17:00Z in SDO AIA 193. This CME appears to exhibit a strong Northern deflection.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

STEREO A COR2 data is poor due to an ongoing campaign, and SOHO LASCO C3 imagery is poor due to the comet passage. POS measurement due to the source being near the limb and a range of fitting longitudes (approx. 80 to 115). |
