Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-10-04T05:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-10-04T05:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S16W17
Active Region Number: 13842
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: A southern CME with a somewhat uncertain front seen with some uncertainty overlapping with the earlier 2024-10-04T04:13Z CME and discernible mostly in difference imagery (not clearly seen in white light images). It is likely associated with the M4.0 flare from Active Region 3842 and the associated narrow, south-directed ejecta seen in AIA/SUVI 304 starting at 2024-10-04T05:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Approximate analysis based on the best fit with two coronagraphs. Parameters are uncertain because the CME front is not clear as it is overlapping with the preceding wider CME. |
