Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-09-16T06:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2024-09-16T06:23:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: Faint CME seen to the NE better in STEREO COR2A, and seen barely in SOHO LASCO C2 due to diffuseness. There is no clear source for this CME on the disk, and due to a lengthy SOHO data gap in real time due to a keyhole maneuver not much imagery is available real-time for better triangulation.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT -19.0 23.0 628.0 C 11.0 2024-09-16T12:05Z UPDATED measurement based on best fit between SOHO LASCO C2 and STEREO A COR2 following SOHO LASCO data backfill. Front was too diffuse to be reliably tracked in C3. Not modeled Melissa Kane on 2024-09-18T18:55Z
CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE false Plane-of-sky NONE 12.0 833.0 C 15.0 2024-09-16T11:06Z STEREO A Plpne-of-sky taken at E115.2 degrees based on its current position. This measurement fell slightly south of the diffuse front in SOHO LASCO C2, but the front is not clear enough to reliably triangulate using C2 imagery.
