Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-09-13T15:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-09-13T15:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: CME visible to the west in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The start time is in SOHO LASCO C2 after a data gap from 2024-09-13T13:48Z-15:12Z. The potential source is opening field lines and brightening loops seen on the west limb in SDO AIA 193. The activity starts around 2024-09-13T09:00Z and continues for several hours following the eruption. The activity is also visible from the point of view of STEREO A EUV imagery. Overlapping CMEs are visible in the coronagraphs around this time, and may also be from this activity to the west.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Measurement using SOHO LASCO C3 imagery and only one frame of STEREO A COR2 imagery due to poor difference imagery quality. The longitude may vary by +/- 10 degrees, and this measurement is approximate. |
