Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-09-10T10:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-09-10T10:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
U: Unknown
Note: CME visible to the SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The leading edge of the CME fades away quickly in imagery, and overlaps in the field of view with CME: 2024-09-10T08:36Z. The source is likely a filament eruption with liftoff starting in SDO AIA 304 around 2024-09-10T09:51Z with dimming seen in SDO AIA 193 and opening field lines in SDO AIA 171/193. The eruption is visible on the limb from the point of view of STEREO A EUV 195/304.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
