Source Location: N40E30
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Source Signature Keyword:
DIM: Dimming
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Loop CME seen to the NE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. This CME is believed to be associated with/related to the eruptive activity that resulted in NW partial halo CME:2024-09-08T01:36Z. Dimming is seen in SDO AIA 193 around N40E30, which appears to be an EUV wave propagating from the source of the partial halo eruption, and a dark feature can be seen at the same location in SDO AIA 171, possibly indicating northeastern-directed ejecta at about 2024-09-08T01:17Z, also located at roughly N40E30. This CME is more defined in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 than in STEREO A COR2.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Measurement made using best fit between coronagraphs. Leading edge is very faint in STEREO A COR2. Width of CME seems to gradually increase a bit as it progresses through C2's field of view and is influenced by surrounding outflow, then half the leading edge becomes too diffuse to measure in C3's field of view. |
