Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-28T18:15Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-28T18:15:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first seen in the SE by STEREO A COR2 beginning at 2024-08-28T18:15Z. There is no SOHO LASCO C2/C3 imagery available for this event due to a data gap from 28/14:36Z to 29/04:35Z. The source of this CME is clear opening field lines seen along the SE limb by SDO AIA 171, 193 and GOES SUVI 284, likely representing a far sided source. However the CME itself is fairly faint.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
