Note: This CME is faintly visible to the west in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and a few frames within a data gap of STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source appears to be filament ejecta visible along the western limb starting around 2024-08-17T18:53Z best seen in SDO/AIA and GOES SUVI 304. There are moving/opening field lines also visible starting around 2024-08-17T19:00Z in GOES SUVI 284.
