Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-16T14:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-16T14:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N28E04
Active Region Number: 13789
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: CME seen to the N in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and NE in STEREO COR2A. The source is an eruption from AR 3789 starting around 2024-08-16T13:52Z as field line movement and ejecting material in SDO AIA 171/193/211/304, alongside a C5.9 class flare which peaked at 2024-08-16T14:09Z best seen in SDO AIA 131. Eruption on the north end of the AR. Light dimming also observed reverberating across a broad area NE of the region in SDO AIA 193/211.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

Deflected far northward of the eruption centered around N28E04 in SDO imagery, but it triangulated here between coronagraphs so it is in good confidence.
