Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-13T00:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-08-13T00:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S30W90
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
J: Jet
Note: Jet-like CME first seen in the South by SOHO LASCO C2 beginning at 2024-08-13T00:12Z, as well as in later frames by C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source of this eruption is a thin release of material from approximately S30W90+ that exhibits strong Southeastern deflection as seen in GOES SUVI 304. Field line opening is also visible in SDO AIA 171, 193, 211 and GOES SUVI 284.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
