Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-08-09T05:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-08-09T05:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: A very faint CME with the front best seen in SOHO LASCO C2 but also traceable in a couple of early timestamps in C3. The CME front is not seen in STEREO A (although imagery is available). No source for the CME was found on disk but there is a tiny post-eruptive arcade seen from behind the west limb in AIA195/131 starting around 2024-08-09T05Z, possibly indicating a source behind the west limb.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

This measurement was done mostly using C2 imagery, so the final CME speed might be a bit higher. Not modeled Anna Chulaki on 2024-08-09T17:43Z
