Note: Faint but distinct loop CME seen to the S/SE in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and STEREO A COR2. The time at which this CME first enters the C2 field of view is probably a bit earlier than 06:48Z, but the leading edge is not clearly discernable in C2 imagery (both white light and difference imagery) in any frames before 06:48Z when it is about halfway through the C2 field of view. The exact source location is uncertain due to the faintness of the event, but the strongest candidate source is a set of loops of field lines seen in the SE quadrant of the disk, which showed movement (and possible ejection of some material) starting around 2024-08-03T03:30Z. These loops of field lines in the SE span from E40 to E80, and their footpoints appear to be anywhere from S10-S25 and are tilted south.
