OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the east in SOHO LASCO C2 and STEREO A COR2 imagery. The source is likely related to an eruption and opening of field lines visible just beyond the eastern limb in SDO AIA 131, 171, 193, 304 imagery starting around 2024-07-24T22:00Z.

If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Parameters based on best fit between SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2 imagery. The northern part of the front that sticks out ahead of a smoother front closer to the bulk of the CME was excluded from the measurement due to fitting constraints. |
