Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-21T12:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-07-21T12:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME seen to the WNW in all coronagraphs, but only in earliest frames of STEREO COR2A due to a data gap beginning at 2024-07-21T13:53Z. The source for this is likely field line movement just inside, on, or just behind the WNW limb observed in SDO AIA 171/193/211 and GOES SUVI 171/195/284 starting slowly around 2024-07-21T10:00Z, alongside post-eruptive arcades slowly becoming visible on the limb around 2024-07-21T12:00Z in those wavelengths.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Triangulated measurement between SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO COR2A, given the visible EUV source but unclear specific longitude. Despite only having a few available COR2A frames, this was enough to get a good fit around W85-W95, settling on W88 as the best fit. |
