Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-16T18:00Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-07-16T18:00:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
U: Unknown
Note: Narrow, faint, jet-like CME visible to the SE in SOHO LASCO C2/C3. Not visible in STEREO A COR2 due to a data gap. The potential source may be opening field lines visible in SDO AIA 171/193 starting around 2024-07-16T16:57Z. It may be associated with a dimming observed around S50E30 starting at 2024-07-16T17:28Z, but this is believed to be a better candidate for the CME first observed in SOHO LASCO C2 at 2024-07-16T19:00Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
