Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-07-10T08:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-07-10T08:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: Very faint and narrow CME to the southwest seen in SOHO LASCO C2 and STEREO A COR2, seen for only a few early frames in C3 because of its faintness. The source is very uncertain, as there are several small movements of field lines and small areas of brightening occurring across the disk at the time, however, the strongest candidate is a very small eruption from Active Region 13740 (S18W52) seen as very narrowly opening field lines around 2024-07-10T08:15Z in SDO AIA 193.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
