GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
Note: This CME is visible to the east/southeast in SOHO LASCO C2 and C3. There is a data gap in STEREO A COR2 imagery for this event. The source is a filament eruption with only a narrow stream of ejecta actually lifting off the solar disk as seen in SDO/AIA and GOES SUVI 304. The feature appears to have a narrow portion related to the ejecta that separated from the more rounded filament eruption which may have contributed to a fainter wider front that disappears before exiting the C2 field of view. There are associated moving/opening field lines visible in GOES SUVI 284.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Plane-of-sky parameters based on the fit of the narrow feature related to the filament ejecta that was able to release from the sun. The wider portion which is not visible beyond C2 had a measured POS speed of 331 km/s, a lat of -9 degrees, and a half-width of 45 degrees. |
