Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-20T13:25Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-06-20T13:25:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: A narrow CME in the northeast seen in both coronagraphs. Its source is most likely the faint opening of field lines behind the NE limb and the post-eruptive arcades peaking from behind the limb seen in AIA 193 starting after 2024-06-20T12:40Z. There is also a very faint ejecta seen (likely behind the limb) in GOES SUVI in the northeast starting at 2024-06-20T13:04Z. There is a very faint front (which could be the shock) preceding a brighter following front, which could be the bulk (or the core) of the CME.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
