Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-04T05:48Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-06-04T05:48:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
KEY: Keyhole-hole shaped CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: This slow CME is visible to the East in SOHO LASCO C2, C3, and STEREO A COR2. The source is opening field lines seen just beyond the E limb and spanning from latitude S00 to S15 in SDO AIA 171 lasting from 2024-06-04T03:30Z-04:20Z. Ejecta also seen in SDO AIA 304. This CME seems to have interacted with a nearby streamer, possibly blowing out part of the streamer.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
