Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-20T05:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-05-20T05:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
HAL: Halo CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Fast halo CME visible in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. The source is believed to be backsided, with moving field lines and EUV wave visible in SDO AIA 171/193 at 2024-05-20T05:22Z. A filament eruption and C6.7 flare peaking at 2024-05-20T05:54Z from Active Region 3683 (approx. S24W65) occurred around the same time, but was determined not be the source of this fast halo CME due to location and timing.

The List of CME Analysis already entered:
Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
