Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-14T10:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-05-14T10:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
O: Other
Note: This irregularly shaped CME is seen to the SW in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and STEREO A COR2. Source is likely near Active Region 13664 which was at about W90-95 at the time of this eruption. Source is one of several instances of opening field lines seen on the SW limb at about S20 starting at 2024-05 14T08:30Z and lasting through 2024-05-14T10:30Z. The most likely occurrence of field line movement to be associated with this CME is seen in GOES SUVI 304 at 09:12Z. Field line movement is also seen in SDO AIA 193 at 08:48Z and in GOES SUIV 284 at 08:44Z.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
