Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-10T21:17Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-05-10T21:17:00-CME-001 (version 3)
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
Note: A very faint CME partially overlapping with 2024-05-10T21:28Z CME and other outflows/fronts. No clear source was found on disk but there are some signs of smaller eruptions along a very long filament centered loosely around S35E01 to the east of Active Region 13664. The filament seems to finally erupt after 2024-05-10T21Z. This CME is fully covered by a data gap in STEREO A imagery.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

The CME is fully covered by a data gap in STEREO and the source is uncertain, so only POS analysis is definitive. |
